Aesthetic Treatments

We offer at home whitening treatment with custom made trays with "bleaching" solution to enable you  to control the whitening process to achieve your desired colour. An initial appointment is booked to assess your suitability and take moulds of your teeth.  A second appointment is necessary to fit the custom trays and demonstrate the optimum application. 

The advantage of this system is you are able decide the strength of the solution and the frequency of application, particularly if you suffer from mild sensitivity. You will also have your custom trays for future application should you feel a little top-up is wanted. 

We offer C-Thru clear braces - a series of virtually invisible, removable aligners that are changed every two to three weeks. Treatment can take as little as 12 weeks, depending on the alterations required. Each aligner is carefully designed specifically for your teeth and moves them in small stages, little by little, week by week, until they have reached the final position prescribed by your dentist.

C-Thru aligners are made just for you and are therefore clear and comfortable. They don't get in the way of your lifestyle, and can easily be removed for a short space of time for an important meeting, event or night out.

Highlands  dental Practice advise that  aligners are removed for eating, drinking, brushing and flossing, and can also be removed to clean your teeth, allowing you to maintain good oral hygiene.

The anti-wrinkle treatment we offer temporarily relaxes the muscles underlying areas such as frown lines, forehead lines and 'crowsfeet', softening facial expressions for a younger, more rejuvenated appearance.

An ultra-fine needle is used to precisely deliver small amounts of a purified protein. This prevents certain facial muscles from contracting, which stops the skin from creasing. 

These injections are most often used in the upper part of the face to correct forehead lines, frown lines and crow’s feet.

The treatment normally takes an average of 2-3 days to become visible, although the maximum effects are usually reached in about 2-3 weeks. The speed of action will depend on the strength of your facial muscles and your individual response.

Prior to treatment your make-up will be removed and the skin disinfected. Your visit will last around 15 minutes and you can return to your usual daily activities immediately afterwards. The effects of all such treatment are temporary and we will recommend when you should return for re-treatment.
